Hydroseeding is quickly becoming the chosen method to establish a lush green lawn and to prevent hillside erosion in the Okanagan.

You can have a high quality lawn, without all the work and cost of laying sod.

Hydroseeding is a grass planting process that is fast and efficient.  The hydroseeding process is more effective than conventional seeding and is a cost effective alternative to installing sod.  You can have a turf like lawn in as little as three weeks.  Land Works can help you come up with the right seed, fertilizer, tackifier and mulch mix for all your seeding needs. Land Works only uses the best quality seed that is available at the time of seeding. Please call with the sq foot or sq m we can give you a estimate over the phone on projects under 10,000sq feet.

Our hydroseeding services are availabe throughout the Okanagan including Kelowna, Westbank, Vernon, Penticton, Osoyoos, Sicamouse, Enderby, Armstrong, Coldstream, Merrit and surrounding central BC communities.

Hydroseed is most commonly used for hillside erosion control and forestry roads but can be used on acreages, residential lawns, lawn Replacement, Roadsides, Sports Fields ,Golf Courses, Utility Trench Lines, Construction Restorations, Pastures, Orchards, Vineyards, Construction Sites and after Land Development.

Land Works Landscaping also provides services to prepare your site for hydroseed. Weed eating, raking, equipment work and even irrigation instalation. In most cases depending on area we can install a irrigation system and hydroseed for less than the price of turf itself.

We use a bonded fibre matrix product that is a complex versions of hydroseeding mulch. The bonded fibre matrix is a combination of wood fibre and polymer which form a high strength erosion resistant carpet that is designed to stay in place on steep slopes. This product is sprayed on with a hydro seeder and dries to form a dense protective shield that bonds to the earth. The interlocking fibres create a strong and durable cover that is breathable, porous and secures seed & soil while enhancing the establishment of vegetation. Once dry, the matrix retains its form in spite of rainfall. Over time, the product decomposes adding nutriants to the soil.
